Possible Complications
The most common complication of rhinoplasty is that the desired appearance was not fully obtained. This often can be corrected by minor touchups, usually within the office under local anesthesia, to obtain the desired results. Other possible complications are infection, wound healing problems, unfavorable scarring, fluid or blood collection, numbness, asymmetry, and contour irregularities.
