Fillers

Many people develop wrinkles that become more noticeable over time.  As the skin ages, it loses its underlying support structure.  This soft tissue atrophy, most commonly affects the lips, chin, cheeks, under the eyes, corners of the mouth, and between the nose and side of the mouth.  To reduce these signs of aging and prevent wrinkles from deepening, we use a successful process of filling the creases or wrinkles with formulas such as Restylane®, Juvederm and Radiesse.

Fillers are formulas that are injected into the wrinkles or scars to flatten deep folds and fine lines and to elevate depressed scars and enhance lip size and contour.  You can expect mild discomfort, especially in sensitive areas such as the lips.  However, we provide a topical anesthetic and nerve block to eliminate discomfort.  Recovery is quick and post-procedure care is minimal.  We recommend ice for the first few hours to minimize redness and any bruising.  You can expect results within 24 hours after the swelling recedes.  The procedure usually takes about 20-30 minutes.  Results last up to 6 months, but to maintain desired results, we recommend repeat treatments every 3-4 months.
